Privacy Policy
Effective August 23, 2026
Worldscale LLC builds INRE and Pollinate. This policy explains what we collect, what we do not, and what you can do about it.
We have tried to write it in plain language. Where a sentence sounds like a promise, it is one.
The short version
- Your voice never leaves your phone. Recordings are transcribed on your device and stay there. We never receive them, and never store them.
- We do not sell your data. Not to anyone, for any purpose, ever.
- Nothing you write is used to train AI models. Not ours, not anyone's.
- Your reflections are stored in Europe. When you ask INRE to draft a reflection, the text of what you said is sent to our AI provider in the United States for as long as that takes. Nothing else is.
- You can take it all with you, or delete all of it, whenever you like.

What we collect
Your reflections. The written reflections you save, the transcripts of what you said, and the themes derived from them. This is the heart of the app and the most private thing we hold.
Your account. An identifier from Sign in with Apple. If you use Hide My Email, we never see your real email address. We do not ask for your name; if you give it, it is only used to greet you.
Your progress. Which day of your year you are on, which days you have answered, and your settings.
Purchases. Whether you have an active subscription, and where it came from. Payment details are handled by Apple or Stripe and never reach us.
What we do not collect
- Audio recordings. Transcription runs on your phone. Your voice is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
- Analytics. No tracking, no behavioural profiling, no advertising identifiers, no third-party SDKs watching what you do.
- Location. The app's Sky appearance follows the sun using your device's time zone. We never request or receive your location.
- Contacts, photos, or anything else on your phone.
- Unsaved drafts. A reflection you have not saved never leaves your device.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Reflections about your inner life may reveal things that data protection law treats as special category data — your health, your beliefs, your relationships. We rely on your explicit consent to process it, which you give when you set up the app, before you record anything.
You can withdraw that consent at any time. If you do, we stop all AI processing — no more drafted reflections, no more map. Your writing stays yours and stays readable. We do not delete what you wrote because you changed your mind about a feature.
For your account and your subscription, we rely on performance of our contract with you.
Where it lives, and where it goes
At rest, in Europe. Your reflections, themes and account are stored on Supabase infrastructure in Ireland (eu-west-1).
Drafting happens in the United States. When you ask INRE to turn what you said into a written reflection, the text is sent to Anthropic in the US, used to produce the draft, and not retained for training. We would prefer this happened in Europe; European processing is not currently offered for this service, and we would rather tell you that than leave it vague.
This transfer is covered by standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for details.
Your audio is never part of any of this.
Who else touches it
| Who | What | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Stores your reflections and account | Ireland |
| Anthropic | Drafts reflections from your text | United States |
| Apple | Sign-in, and App Store subscriptions | United States |
| Stripe | Website payments | United States / EU |
Each is contractually bound to process your data only on our instructions, and none of them may use it to train anything. We do not sell data to anyone, and none of these companies is a customer of ours.
If we ever add another, we will update this list before they receive anything.
How long we keep it
Your reflections stay until you delete them or close your account. There is no expiry — a journal you cannot go back to is not a journal.
When you delete your account, we erase everything within 30 days, including from backups on their normal cycle. Recordings are on your phone, so deleting the app deletes them; we cannot delete them for you, and we cannot recover them either.
Text sent for drafting is not retained by our AI provider after the draft is made.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can:
- Get a copy of everything we hold about you.
- Correct anything. Every reflection and transcript in INRE is editable in the app, at any time. It is your account of your life, not ours.
- Delete everything, from Settings, without asking us.
- Take it with you, in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent to AI processing while keeping your writing.
- Object, or ask us to restrict what we do.
Write to paul@worldscale.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your national data protection authority. We would rather you told us first, but it is your right either way.
Security
Your session token is held in your device's secure keychain. Every piece of data is isolated at the database level so that one person's account cannot read another's — enforced by the database itself, not by application code remembering to check.
No system is perfect. If there is ever a breach affecting you, we will tell you, and we will tell the relevant authority within 72 hours.
Children
INRE is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18, and we will delete it if we discover we have.
This website
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no trackers. There is nothing to consent to, which is why we are not asking.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and change the date. If a change materially affects what happens to your reflections, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, rather than quietly updating a page.
